Cabinet Committees

They are not mentioned in the Constitution and are extra-constitutional in nature. Two types–standing (permanent nature) and ad hoc (temporary Nature - to deal special problems). They include only Cabinet Ministers and headed by the Prime Minister.

At present (2019) there are 8 Cabinet Committees exist.

1. Cabinet Committee on Political Affairs
2. Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs
3. Cabinet Committee on Appointments.
4. Cabinet Committee on Security
5. Cabinet Committee on Parliamentary Affairs
6. Cabinet Committee on Accommodation
7. Cabinet Committee on Investment and Growth
8. Cabinet Committee on Employment and Skill Development
